For
thousands of years humans have interacted with aromatic plants,
flowers and fruits. How often have you rubbed, leaves, flowers
or seeds between your fingers and held them up to your nose to
smell the wonderful aromas. The world of fragrance is becoming
very popular once again, indicating that people are truly appreciating
the world of scent.
Aromatherapy
is an ancient art blending essential oils derived from roots,
leaves, flowers, trees and grasses to create a magical perfumery
that can truly change ones lifes. A massage with the right combination
of oils can leave one feeling energized or relaxed, whatever your
body needs.
Meditating
with oils or a good quality aromatherapy candle is a very spiritual
experience that makes you feel all is well with the world. I recommend
you put more of this scent magic into your life so that the plant
energy merges with your own. What could be more natural?
Some
oils used for meditation are Chamomile, Frankincense, Myrrh, and
Sandalwood. Put a few drops of these in a base oil such as Sweet
Almond and try combinations until you find the one that makes
you feel good. Spray the scent around your room and start you
meditation. Enjoy!
